September 16, 2009. Death Toll from Swine Flu Reaches 200 in India

The number of people to die of A/H1N1 flu in India reached 200 on September 16th with over 6,500 reported cases of infections in 28 states, local media reported. Maharashtra state recorded the highest number of deaths (87), followed by Karnataka (66), and Gujarat (18).
