A magnitude-5.7 earthquake struck the Japan on February 25th, shaking buildings in Tokyo but causing no risk of tsunami, local media said. The earthquake's epicenter was located some 57km (36 miles) north-northeast of Maebashi and around 143km (88 miles) north-northwest of Tokyo. No significant damage was reported, although officials suspended several bullet trains.
