February 11, 2013. Eight injured by magnitude-6.9 quake in Colombia

Eight people were injured, and over 140 homes damaged, following a magnitude-6.9 earthquake in southwestern Colombia, officials said on February 9th. The Narino, Cauca, and Valle provinces were the most severely affected by the quake that had an epicenter 1.5 miles (2.4 km) northwest of Ospina, in Narino province. An official confirmed that the quake resulted in no fatalities or missing persons.
