January 29, 2013. Earthquake strikes Peru's Arequipa region

A magnitude 4.3 earthquake struck the region of Arequipa on January 28th, Peru's Geophysical Institute reported. The quake struck nine kilometers (5.5 miles) northeast of the Atico district, and had a depth of 45 kilometers (28 miles). No injuries or damage were immediately reported.
