January 7, 2013. Moderate earthquake shakes Taipei buildings

A magnitude 5.2 on the Richter scale earthquake struck off the coast of Taiwan on January 7th, shaking buildings in Taipei, but there were no reports of damages or casualties. The earthquake struck some 152km (94 miles) east-southeast of Taipei, with a depth of 73.3km (45 miles).
