December 5, 2012. Peru's Amazonas region experiences quake

A medium intensity earthquake struck the Amazonas region of Peru on December 3rd, the country's Geophysical Institute said. The quake's epicenter was 38 miles (62 kilometers) west of the Santa Maria de Nieve province, and had a magnitude of 4.2. No damages or injuries were reported.
