October 12, 2012. Earthquake hits Indonesia, no tsunami reported

An earthquake measuring 6.7 on the Richter scale struck Indonesia on October 12th, reports indicated. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was centered around 108 km (67 miles) north of the village of Dobo in Maluku province. The initial extent of the damage was not clear; however, no tsunami was reported.
