September 5, 2012. Hundreds of homes damaged in Philippines earthquake

More than 800 homes and offices were damaged early on September 4th, when a 5.6-magnitude earthquake struck the southern Philippines, local officials said. Cracks appeared on walls, roofs collapsed, and one person was injured by falling debris when the earthquake struck the southern island of Mindanao. Some 544 homes, shops, and commercial buildings sustained damage in Valencia. Some 316 buildings were damaged in Maramag.
