At least four people were killed and more than 100 others injured when an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 on the Richter scale struck the border between Sichuan and Yunnan provinces, state-controlled media said on June 25th. The earthquake toppled homes and cut off communications with parts of Ninglang county in Yunnan. Three people died in Ninglang, while another death was reported in neighboring Yanyuan county in Sichuan.
