June 11, 2012. Magnitude-5.8 earthquake strikes Greece and Turkey

A magnitude-5.8 or 6.0 earthquake struck the Greek island of Rhodes and southwestern Turkey on June 10th, with no deaths or serious damages reported. In Turkey, however, at least six people were hurt by jumping out of buildings. While the Athens Geodynamic Institute said the earthquake was of magnitude 5.8, the Turkish Kandilli Observatory said it was of 6.0 in magnitude.
