September 7, 2011. At least three killed in earthquake in Indonesia

At least three people were killed and another injured after at magnitude-6.6 earthquake struck 100km (60 miles) southwest of Sumatra Island's Medan on September 6th. The earthquake sent panicked residents fleeing from homes, hotels, businesses, and a hospital. About 50 homes, as well as mosques, churches, and hospitals, were damaged in the earthquake. Power problems, meanwhile, burned down more than 250 shops and kiosks.
