At least five people were injured on June 8th when a moderate earthquake sent rocks crashing onto a road and caused car crashes in Xinjiang region, state-controlled media said. The magnitude-5.3 earthquake centered in Xinjiang's Toksun county, some 2,300km (1,400 miles) west of Beijing. The earthquake suspended railway services for two hours, while students taking national college entrance exams were evacuated from exam centers.
