A 5.7-magnitude earthquake shook buildings in Manila on March 21st but did not cause any significant damages or casualties, the director of the government's Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said in an interview with local television. Officials said the earthquake was deep underground limiting any damages above-ground.
