November 30, 2010. Earthquake strikes Japan

A magnitude 6.9 on the Richter scale earthquake struck near the Ogasawara Islands, some 800km (500 miles) south of the main Japanese island of Honshu on November 29th, with no casualties or severe damage immediately reported. The earthquake reportedly shook buildings across much of Japan's south.
