October 19, 2010. Powerful tremor causes further damages in New Zealand

Six weeks after a magnitude 7.1 on the Richter scale earthquake struck South Island's Christchurch, a magnitude 5.0 tremor caused panic and further damages in the city on October 18th, reports indicated. The earthquake struck at about 11:30 local time, cutting power and telephone services and leading many residents to flee into the streets.
