May 18, 2010. Anti-Preval protesters march to collapsed national palace in Haiti

More than 1,000 people marched to the collapsed national palace in Port-au-Prince on May 17th to criticize President Rene Preval's response to the catastrophic January 2010 earthquake. Local police and UN peacekeepers stood guard as the protesters chanted for the return of exiled President Jean-Bertrand Aristide. Eleven protesters were arrested for violent acts.
