April 25, 2013. Earthquake injures six near pacific coast of Honduras

At least six people were injured, and another 120 evacuated, following a magnitude-4.7 earthquake that shook the Pacific coast of Honduras on April 23rd, sources indicated. The cities of Esparta, La Masica, and Arizona were placed on alert after the quake, which was followed by several aftershocks. At least 66 dwellings were also damaged in the quake. Seismically active Honduras experienced at least 36 earthquakes in April 2013, ranging in magnitude from 3.1 to 5.6.
