March 26, 2013. Magnitude 6.2 quake strikes near Guatemala City

A powerful 6.2-magnitude earthquake struck near Guatemala City on March 25th, authorities said. The quake struck at a depth of 201km (125 miles), lessening the quake's effect on the surface. There were no initial reports of damage of injuries. In November 2012, a 7.5-magnitude quake in Guatemala caused 50 deaths and severe damage.
